  1. NEC ResearchIndex - this is a site where you can find lots of research and technical papers that have been published in recent years.

  2. Xemacs - an editor similar to Emacs. I love this because it has multiple functions. You can edit anything using it including html, tex , c, c++ etc.

  3. GNU - a site where you can find some other application softwares, mostly run on UNIX machines.

  4. Statistical Learning/Pattern Recognition Glossary site - a simple and easy to understand "dictionary" for those interested in Statistical Learning and Pattern Recognition. A few papers on related topics are alsolisted.

  5. gtk+ - a software to create GUI on UNIX, Windows and Mac.

  6. FreeBSD - OS that I am using at the lab.

  7. Kevin Murphy, Ph.D site - provides lots of information and links on dynamic bayesian network(DBN).

  8. gnuplot - a tools to plot graphs. Available for Unix and Windows.

  9. MikTex - a TeX distribution for Windows. Easy to install and can be coupled with TeXnicCenter to produce 'lovely' document.

  10. TeXnicCenter - an integrated development environment (IDE) for developing LaTeX document on Windows. Try this out to produce your technical papers!!!
