Technical Talk Dr. Mazhar Hussain Bolach

Nibong Tebal, 18^th September 2019 - Technical talk on the topic of Wind Energy Conversion System for Grid-connected Power System given by Dr. Mazhar Hussain Bolach who is a USM Postdoc fellow at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. During the talk, he discussed the basic construction and operating system of the electric generator, turbine and power electronics converter for the energy conversion process. Different types of generators, power converters and control systems are used for this wind energy conversion system. He also mentioned about the several opportunities in this field for future projects.
