Introduction to First Aid and CPR Training 2020
Nibong Tebal, 02nd February 2020 - School of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (SEEE), Universiti Sains Malaysia together with IEEE DEIS Malaysia Chapter and Malaysia High Voltage Network (MyHVnet) has conducted Introduction to First Aid and CPR Training at SEEE Engineering Campus.
The training was conducted by Mr Sunjay MS from Malaysia Red Crescent Penang State. A number of 24 participants have registered and joined the training. The training aims are to learn how to preserve life, prevent condition from becoming worse and promote recovery.
During the session, the participants have learned completed First Aid and CPR theory and practical. The syllabus included:
i) scope of first aid.
ii) trauma emergencies that covers for wounds & bleeding, fractures & dislocation/ sport injuries, burn & scalds.
iii) cardiac & respiratory emergencies that cover topic of asphyxia, shock.
iv) cardia pulmonary ressucitataion (CPR) & include the use of AED lifting & transportation.
v) Examination & Certification.
The examination was conducted at the afternoon session. Result for the examination will be known in a week’s time. Below are some pictures during the event.
