V-One : AIOT & Data Analysis Training by VITrox, 4-6th Dec 2023

From December 4th to 6th, 2023, 30 Capstone students, accompanied by four lecturers acting as coordinators (Dr. Mohd Shahrimie Mohd Asaari, Dr Teoh Soo Siang, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zuraini Dahari and Dr Sami Abdulla Mohsen Saleh) have participated in a transformative data analytics training at Vitrox Campus 2.0 in Batu Kawan Industrial Park. This unique opportunity, generously provided by Vitrox, not only exposed students to cutting-edge technology but also immersed them in the distinctive working environment of Vitrox. Mrs. Karen Savarimuthu and her team from Analytic Intelligent Systems conducted the training, focusing on Artificial Intelligence of Things (AiOT).

The V-One training emerged as a new experience, instrumental in familiarizing students with the latest AiOT technology. The program effectively equipped students with the essential skills demanded by the industry, aligning seamlessly with the requirements of Industry 4.0. Vitrox's V-One platform served as an exceptional learning ground, offering students crucial insights and practical knowledge.

Covering a diverse range of topics, the training modules included basic component integration, IoT monitoring, task automation, dashboarding, workflow, and advanced e-ticketing. Throughout the three days, students actively engaged with assigned tasks, displaying enthusiasm in all assessments, and demonstrating their commitment to mastering the intricacies of the Vitrox V-One platform.

The success of the three-day training session is evident, with participants gaining valuable insights and skills that position them as well-prepared contributors to the dynamic landscape of Industry 4.0. The hope is that students will continue to explore the features of the V-One platform and apply their newfound knowledge to their ongoing Capstone Projects.
